so..im in iraq now. and its actually kinda fun.

its like a fuckedup feild trip of sorts where everyone has a gun. theres a mall on this base..pizza hut...movie theatre..gym..a swimming pool. i get internet in my room, got internet at my work site and phones.

its like im gettin all this tax free money for being on some kind of sick vacation..and im not complaining one bit.

ive already been outside the wire and fired my weapon. other than that nothing to exciting.

theirs hardly ever any aircraft going through my area of operation so these 12 hour workdays get pretty boring. im glad i bought like 8 DS games before i came here or id be like..zombiefied or something. i got...final fantasty 1 3 4 5,ghostbusters, supermario kart, shiningforce, megaman and bass, advance wars and a bunch of others..hopefully thatl last me however many months. theres only so much internet, phone and working out you can do before you get bored.

its kinda like in the movies in regards to my job. i got a laptop to the side of me where i communicate with all the other bases and agencies all around iraq and then i got this computer infront of me where i do my air surveilance(sp?) stuff. today my friend had to go take a piss so he put his headset down and apparently placed it on the key board so in the millitary chat room thing it looked a little something like this

he got in trouble and kicked off the gear and had to do bitch work for the rest of the day. i thought it was pretty funny but apparently the folks higher up the chain didnt think so.

annnd i also get tasked with drawing everydamn thing for everyone. wich doesnt bother me to much. i can never escape art..not that id want to anyway.
